I write prototype & research code, manage teams, and occasionally write/talk.

At present, I manage the hand tracking team 👋 at Ultraleap and am co-founding a decentralized media organization 🌌 channel.

Together with James Geary and Cullen Miller, I launched 3words in September 2021 - a CLIP-guided pixel art NFT series with the contents fully customized by the minters.

I graduated UNR in 2016 - while there I:

      - taught a course called Foundations of Autonomous Systems: Math, Machines, and Minds
      - worked closely with Richard Kelley at NAASIC researching applications of deep learning to control theory
      - proved a novel lower bound on The Sum Swap Equilibrium Game in Bill Gasarch's REU CAAR @ UMD
      - participated in the Pareto Fellowship & interned with Riva Tez's early-stage AI focused VC fund Permutation Ventures

After college, I spent some time in Berlin as a research intern at the Foundational Research Institute and published an applied AI safety paper in NIPS.

Sometimes I write and talk, here is a piece in New Models and podcast episodes (1, 2) I'm happy with.
